Food! Food! Food!
The one thing every single person on the planet has in common.
We all eat right? It doesn’t matter what nationality, race, creed, or even age you are, the simple fact is you have to eat to live. Now that doesn’t mean we all use the same method to feed ourselves. In fact, as a young adult and a single parent for many years, I relied heavily on prepackaged foods to feed myself and my child. There is no judgment here if this is where you are in life. I think we’ve all been there. Heck, sometimes, I still like to head to the local H-E-B to pick up a frozen meal and pop it in the oven or microwave on a busy day when I just don’t have it in me to make a home-cooked meal for my family.
Some of us like to cook while others do not. I am one who didn’t grow up cooking, in fact when I became an “adult” I had no idea how to make anything outside of macaroni and cheese or spaghetti! However, over the past 30 (gulp!) years, I have found I truly enjoy cooking and exploring new recipes and different foods. This blog will be me bringing you different recipes I have discovered along the way. Some were handed down to me from friends and family while others I found on other food blogs. I may not always remember where I got the recipes but I will always give credit to the ones I do. Ready to come on a journey with me?
Let’s go!
